From Stateline: “The number of food pantries on U.S. college campuses has ballooned from 80 to around 800 in the past decade. (and) In a survey conducted by the Hope Center for College, Community, and Justice at Temple University in the fall of 2020 — during the height of the coronavirus pandemic — 29% of students at four-year institutions and 38% of those at two-year schools said they didn’t have access to enough food, or enough high-quality food, at some point in the previous month. The survey, the most recent available, was conducted at 202 colleges and universities in 42 states.”
