FROM M-LIVE: A takeover of the Ottawa County Commission by a far-right group, Ottawa Impact, pushed Walter Davis to action. He vows to speak at every Commission meeting for the next two years. “He (Davis) was heavily involved in trying to keep far-right conservative Republican candidates from being elected to the board of commissioners in the Grand Haven district. He criticized the commissioners’ actions since being elected to office.”
