PERSPECTIVES: Capitulation and Appeasement Trump Higher Education’s Presumed Commitment to Dialogue and Change

Students as agents of change? It’s often more like “students stay in your lane.” Seeking to avoid the “bad press” that came with student protests last academic year, schools nationwide (including presumably liberal-tilting institutions) are playing hardball with students and faculty in 2024-25.
