“I Used to Know What It Meant to Say, “College” and “University” (but) Today I Do Not”

Words matter. Public policies in three states–Michigan, Florida, and New York–have extended the meaning of college and university to the point (it can be argued) that those two words have significantly less meaning than they once had. Higher education isn’t the only domain where words are captured. “Sustainability,” anyone?
