CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — “Austin Peay State University (APSU) has reinstated a tenured theatre professor who was fired last fall after resharing a social media post following the assassination of political activist Charlie Kirk, acknowledging the university did not follow required termination procedures. University officials confirmed to FOX 17 News on Jan. 6, 2026, that Professor Darren Michael returned to his faculty position effective Dec. 30, 2025, following a settlement agreement with the school.” Read more here.
