FROM STAND FOR CAMPUS FREEDOM: “The Trump administration is trying to force Stanford Medical School to hand over seven years of admissions-related data — including applicants’ race, ethnicity, ZIP codes, donor or alumni relationships, and test scores — along with internal communications about diversity, equity, and inclusion and admissions policies. And the timeline is urgent: the Department of Justice has set an April 24 deadline and has indicated that federal funding for Stanford’s professional programs could be withheld if the requested data are not turned over. Stanford is not the only target. Ohio State and UC San Diego received similar letters. This is part of a broader pattern of using funding threats and invasive information demands to pressure colleges and universities into compliance with the administration’s agenda.”
