This is a story about the Trump Administration (aka–among other things–the New American Mafia) and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (aka Neoliberal U). Seeking compliance with its fascist ways–and using mafioso tactics to secure what it wants–the Administration has barred Harvard from admitting international students. Meanwhile, HKUST is engaging in a full-court press to get Harvard’s international students to transfer to its campus rather than expressing support for Harvard and calling out what the U.S. Administration is doing for the greater good of the higher educational sector.
