“Faculty groups at Medaille College and Canisius College recently voted no confidence in the presidents of those institutions, over concerns about their handling of fiscal challenges,” the Buffalo News reported in a cover story in its Sunday edition. There are serious concerns at D’Youville, too. In a change.org petition, organizers wrote: “D’Youville used to encourage the free-flow of ideas, opinions, and information even if it contradicted college leadership- a necessary characteristic of an academic environment.
