FROM THE WHEELING INTELLIGENCER on the proposal prepared and shared by Stewards of WVU: “$21 million in savings would come from a proposed 15% reduction in GIS operating expenses. GIS (General Institutional Support) includes executive management, fiscal operations, general administrative and logistical support, administrative computing support, public relations and development, sponsored projects administration, and radiation waste disposal.”
