From FORBES regarding a recent Gallop survey on the value of higher education: “In 2010, 75% of adults said that a college education was “very important,” but that percentage slipped to 70% in 2013, declined to 51% by 2019, and — in the most recent survey — dipped further to only about a third (35%) rating it as very important. In the new survey, 40% of respondents think a college education is “fairly important,” while 24% say it is “not too important.” Meanwhile, the percentage viewing college as not too important has more than doubled since 2019, and it has soared over the 4% voicing that opinion in 2010.” Read more here.
