PERSPECTIVES: Supply-Demand Imbalance Plagues Pennsylvania Higher Ed System

FROM INSIDE HIGHER EDUCATION: “While there’s no shortage of suppliers (250 colleges and universities in the state, including 40 public institutions), demand for higher education in the Keystone State is nowhere near what it used to be.”

The Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) has already merged six state schools into two multi-campus regional public institutions.
