In Indiana, the ACLU is suing Indiana Governor Braun’s attempt to take direct-appoint all nine trustees at Indiana University—more about the matter from Higher Ed Dive.

In West Virginia, Governor Morrisey signed HB3279, which will remove voting power from faculty, staff, and student representatives on WVU’s BOG and BOGs across the state. The bill will also increase the number of members on WVU’s BOG from 17 to 19, requiring Morrisey to appoint 15 instead of 12 members.
