NEWS BRIEFS: Clemson Sit-In Ends, President Responds to Student Demands

Since October 21, The Students for Survivors Coalition had been participating in a campus sit-in, demanding university resources for victims of sexual assault. Read more from WYFF-TV4.

Demands included: Separation of Title IX and interpersonal violence prevention offices, hiring three experienced and certified advocates, enacting trauma-informed training for key Clemson leadership, restructuring student representation on the CU president’s Commission on Women, conducting a campus climate survey, and establishing a women’s and gender center.
