FROM THE ATHLETIC: Because UCLA’s migration will have a negative impact on a fellow major athletic participant in the U Cal system (viz, UC Berkeley), “UCLA will be required to contribute $2 million to $10 million of its coming Big Ten revenue annually to fellow system member Cal to support the athletes on that campus. The UC Board will have the authority to determine the amount once the Pac-12’s pending media deal is finalized.”
