“Oppression breeds resistance,” writes Pissed Off MSU. “Students and youth have fought back every step of the way… It is our hope that learning about the history of organizing (at Michigan State) will help give context to, and maybe even light the spark for, uprisings to come. The administration wants you to be oriented–uncritical, obedient, and peaceful. This is our counter-offer–disorientation.”
Established in 2015, this website was conceived by current and former Michigan State University faculty members. The purpose is to be declarative about the pernicious impacts of neoliberalism on higher education and society at large.
