Rutgers U Press, 2021

Professor Andrew Zimbalist, Robert A. Woods Professor of Economics, Smith College, is a national leader in studying and writing about the money side of revenue-generating college sports—an enterprise that has migrated over the years from an amateur to a professionalized status with pro-like commercialization. His most recent book, Whither College Sports: Amateurism, Athlete Safety, and Academic Integrity. was released by Rutgers University Press in November.

Zimbalist joined FutureU recently for a presentation and discussion of the scope of the problem and what can be done in response. He is joined by Ruben Martinez and Steven Miller of Michigan State University. (The program was produced and hosted by Frank Fear for FutureU).
